INCENTIVE SCHEME
The Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club conducts an Incentive Scheme which runs during each racing season. If you have bred a horse which will run this year email the club atbc@atbc.com with the name of the horse and its breeding and it will be entered in the database. This season $15000 has been provided for the pool. At the end of the season the pool will be divided by the total number of wins recorded by the nominated horses and a cash amount will be awarded for each win. Entry is free and you may nominate any number of horses. Please note this incentive is for breeders and provided you have bred the horse you DO NOT have to own the horse at the time of winning.
Conditions
- You must be a financial member of the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club both at the time of nominating and winning.
- The breeder for these purposes is the person/s, company or entity as detailed in the Australian Stud Book.
- The horse does not have to be in the ownership of the breeder at the time of winning.
- Once nominated the horse is automatically entered in any subsequent Incentive Schemes run by the club.
BREEDERS RACE DAY BONUS
Periodically the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club provides a Race Day Bonus of $1000 to the winner of any race on a selected country race meeting. Members will be informed of the Bonus days at least a month in advance. An additional Bonus of $500 will be paid if the conditions of the Race Day bonus have been met and the winning horse is by a Stallion which is included in the current Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club Stallion Tender Scheme. The additional bonus will be paid to the donor as detailed in the book, if more there is more than one donor the amount will be shared.
Conditions
- The breeder of the winning horse must be a current financial member of the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club of at least three months.
- For these purposes the breeder is the person/s, company or entity as detailed in the Australian Stud Book.
- The winning horse must be entered in the Incentive Scheme prior to winning.
- The winner shall be the horse as declared at correct weight.
- The breeder does not have to be in the ownership of the horse at the time of winning.
