At the Club's Annual General Meeting, Club President John Holloman announced the winners for the various divisions of the Broodmare Of the Year Awards.
DIVISION 1 (ten or more horses nominated).
1st. Roger & Nerida Atkinson’s mare Yallah Terrace by Yallah Prince - 180 pts. Winning progeny during the season included

In announcing these awards, Club President John Holloman made the following comment:
This was a year of real quality and I can't remember a better one. The competition in each category was fierce. The winners in each division notched up at least one Group win.
The Division 1 winner, Yallah Terrace, was the highest points earner, and by a considerable margin, ever since the Broodmare of the Year competition started many years ago.
