RACING INCENTIVE SCHEME.
The Racing Incentive Scheme is open to all members. Each racing season the committee set aside a certain amount of money to go into a Metropolitan Winners Pool and another amount to go into a Provincial and Country Winners Pool. Members can enter horses that they have bred into the scheme.

Every time that horse wins in that season it is allocated one point in the respective pool according to whether the win was a metropolitan win or a provincial and country win. At the end of the racing season, the member receives the proportion of the pool commensurate with the proportion of the points that the member's horse has attained. For example if a member's horse has scored 10 points out of a total metropolitan pool points of 200 then the member would receive 5% of the Metropolitan Pool.
Members can enter as many horses that they like subject to the Conditions of the Scheme. Entry is free and horses may be entered by simply contacting the Club.

Conditions of the Racing Incentive Scheme.
The scheme is open only for financial members of the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club Limited.

The breeder of the horse is the person, persons or corporate entity recorded in the Australian Studbook.

In the case where there are two or more breeders and some are not members of the Club then the point allocated for the win will be in the proportion to the number of members that are the breeders. For example if there are four breeders and only one is a member of the Club then the winning horse would receive one quarter of a point for the win.

To receive a point for a win the breeder of the horse must be a financial member of the Club at the time of
the win.

The horse must be entered into the Racing Incentive Scheme at the time of the win to be eligible for a point.

BREEDERS RACE DAY BONUS SCHEME.
The Club endeavours to hold eight Breeders’ Race Day Bonus meetings a year in association with selected country race clubs. $1,000 per race can be won by the breeder of the winner provided that the conditions of the scheme are met. The breeder does not have to be an owner of the winning horse.

Donors of stallion nominations to the ATBC Stallion Tender Scheme may receive a Donors Bonus of $500 if an eligible winning horse was sired by a stallion to which they donated a service in the current season’s stallion tender scheme.

Conditions of the Breeders’ Race Day Bonus and the Donors Bonus.

The breeder of a winner at a Breeders Race Day Bonus meeting will receive a bonus of $1,000 subject to the following conditions:

The Breeders Race Day Bonus is open only to financial members of the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club Limited.

The breeder of the horse is the person, persons or corporate entity recorded in the Australian Studbook

All the breeders must be members of the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club Limited and the horse must be entered in the Racing Incentive Scheme at the time of the race.

The winner shall be that horse declared first at the time of correct weight.

The Donors Bonus of $500 per race will be paid to the donor or donors of the stallion nomination to the Australian Thoroughbred Breeders Club Limited Stallion Tender Scheme provided that the sire of the winner is in the Stallion Tender Scheme which coincides with the current racing season and all the conditions of the Breeders Race Day Bonus are met.

If there are multiple nominations to the same stallions, the $500 bonus will be shared by the donors.
